Motor Vehicle Accident

This was a global settlement for 3 individuals for a motor vehicle collision, involving a mother and her two children. The mother, Jane Doe was operating her vehicle at an intersection and was broad sided by the defendant, Moe. The collision caused Doe’s vehicle to roll over several times, and the occupants had to be extracted from their vehicle. Doe suffered fractures of her C-4 and C-6 cervical vertebrae and spinal cord compression. She underwent extensive physical therapy. Doe also suffered a mild traumatic brain injury and saw a brain injury medicine physician, and a neuro-optometrist. Plaintiff’s neurosurgeon expert opined that her neck injury was permanent. Doe returned to work without limitations. Doe’s two children were not seriously injured and made full recoveries
