2016Naval officer was killed while operating motorcycle on Interstate 64 after the defendant swerved into plaintiff’s lane of travel knocking him off of his bike. Plaintiff died at the scene of the accident. Although the defendant denied changing lanes suddenly, witnesses testified that defendant moved in the plaintiff’s lane without warning and that the Naval officer had done nothing improper to cause the accident. The plaintiff died two days before his wedding day and had two young children.
