Attorney Emily Strak
Mrs. Strak is passionate about advocating for her clients. Prior to joining the Law Firm of Carlton F. Bennett, Mrs. Strak served as a defense attorney for several large insurance companies, including State Farm, GEICO, and Allstate. During that time, she managed a high-volume caseload, where she gained significant litigation experience, trying multiple motor vehicle collision cases each month. Mrs. Strak brings with her valuable knowledge and insight into the inner workings of the insurance claims and settlement process, and now uses her knowledge and experience in defending large insurance companies to fight for her injured clients.
Mrs. Strak is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is admitted to practice law in all Virginia courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
Mrs. Strak is a U.S. Navy veteran, and lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband and two teenage sons. In her free time, Ms. Strak can be found enjoying the outdoors or watching her sons’ volleyball and football games.
